Representative Julio Robaina (R-Miami) officially withdrew his primary co-sponsorship of H115 -- residential properties. In a letter to House Speaker Larry Cretul dated January 4, 2010 Representative Robaina asked the Speaker to have his name removed as co-sponsor of the bill.

Representative Julio Robaina's decision was as well a follow-up on the decision of Senate Sponsor Paula Dockery to withdraw the Companion Bill S 398 prior to introduction after realizing that this was actually a horrible bill that would have done a lot more harm than good.

The bill was dubbed -- already when last year filed as H 27 -- the ATTORNEYS FULL EMPLOYMENT ACT.

Still not convinced how bad the bill really is? Please read the ANALYSIS OF HOUSE BILL 115. Combine it with the ANALYSIS FROM 2009 and you know how detrimental this bill would be for Florida's homeowners living in mandatory community associations if ever enacted.

Thank you Representative Julio Robaina and Senator Paula Dockery for withdrawing your support for this horrible bill!

Representative Julio Robaina has done a lot of good for Florida's homeowners and condo owners. This year again he dedicated three of his bills to community association reforms.

H 327 -- Distressed Condominium Relief Act

H 329 -- Condominium Foreclosures

H 419 -- Community Associations ------ SEE BILL SUMMARY

Please support State Representative Julio Robaina's bid for the State Senate in the upcoming election. Julio Robaina has always been a champion of Florida's homeowners and condo owners living in mandatory community associations.
