FORT MYERS -- A composite sketch of a man who Lee County
Deputies say stabbed and robbed a man at a Fort Myers condo has yet to be
posted on the property for residents.
"He's armed, and he's
dangerous," said Trish Routte, Crimestoppers Spokesperson.
Routte almost finds it hard to believe the composite sketch
of the suspect accused in the attack hasn't been posted
anywhere on the Whiskey Creek Condos.
"People need to lay eyes on this photo. This is a drawing
that the victim sat down with an artist," said Routte.
"According to the victim this is a very good likeness of the
man.
Investigators say the suspect is a white male in his 20's or
30's, with a strong northeastern accent, a muscular build,
and short dark hair.
A chopper flew over the condo, shortly after the attack on
August 12th as detectives searched for the stabber. |

Friday police released a sketch of the suspect but now
days later it still hasn't been posted anywhere on the property - not even
the elevator where the attack occurred.
Building management agents from P & M management in Fort Myers, told Fox 4
during a phone call that the sketches can't be posted on the property
without the approval from the Condo Association's board of directors.
They also said the posters could deter buyers and may reduce the condo's
property value.
"They need to see this picture, and until he is identified and until he is
arrested there is obviously the threat that he could do this again," said
Routte.
