The man left after the
property manager yelled at him to stop. But when she called
the Collier County Sheriff's Office, she said deputies told
her the man couldn't be arrested, since he didn't actually
expose himself.
"I couldn't believe that it wasn't a crime," said the
property manager, who asked not to be identified. "If he
doesn't expose his 'junk,' as they put it, then it's not a
crime."
Beachmoor is right next to the public access to Vanderbilt
Beach. Some beach visitors told Fox 4 they're disgusted that
someone would fondle themselves in public, near a place
frequented by children.
"I would be completely appalled if somebody was doing that
around my children," said Skylar Hughes. "It's completely
unacceptable, even if you're not exposed." |
