Some unhappy residents in Tamarac's Mainlands 3 won't see any changes at their homeowner's association just yet — and the neighborhood squabble is likely to wind up back in court, said Peter Wallis, the attorney for the residents..
Residents of Mainlands 3, a 55-plus neighborhood, had filed a lawsuit in circuit court asking a judge to help remove two husband-wife teams nearly 75 residents accused of mismanagement and creating an abusive environment.
The judge said no, but in November set a recall vote which was held Thursday night. Resident Sandra Kloszewski, who is leading the charge, said neither side received enough votes — neither the residents who wanted to oust board members nor the majority of the board who wanted their own detractors removed from the board.
"I am so frustrated I can't stand it," she said. |
