The condo building is closing its 14th floor amenity deck
with pools and grilling area, and is continuing to disinfect the elevator
buttons, front door handles, stair railings and the front desk counter,
according to the email. Staff members are wearing gloves as a precaution,
including front desk and valet. “We are adapting a NO TOUCH policy, guests
can show ID but we will not touch the ID,” the email states.
Marinablue was developed by Hyperion Development in 2008. The tower,
designed by Arquitectonica, is across the street from the AmericanAirlines
Arena and near the Zaha Hadid-designed condo tower One Thousand Museum.
In 2018, former Miami Heat player Chris “Birdman” Andersen listed two units
at Marinablue for a total of $1 million.
