TO THE SHOW
On
The Air June 2, 2012 (58 minutes)
Just listen to
this radio show about the Nevada Construction Defect Lawsuit Scam.
So
far, 25 (willing) participants have pleaded guilty in the scam that has cost
homeowners millions of dollars -- and many more are working on plea deals before
the "Main Players" will go to trial.
So far, four of the folks involved in this racket have allegedly
committed suicide
-- according to the police.
Nevada State Senator
Mike Schneider and host Shu Bartholomew are discussing the huge problems --
problems homeowners' associations experience nationwide.
Few people would
argue that there really are problems in mandatory membership homeowners’
associations. Even the most ardent
supporters of associations will admit that not everything is as rosy as it
should be. Over the years we have
heard and read about problems from serious to the ridiculously petty, but have
we been scratching the surface to this point? How
bad can things really be in residential America?
The FBI has been investigating corruption in
Nevada
for the last four years and they are still digging. Hopefully,
they will be digging as well in other states, where problems are similar.
Senator Mike Schneider of Nevada
is a long-time legislator who has tried to regulate associations and bring some
balance to the abuses in the construction defect racket. You'll
hear what is going on in Nevada
today and where this investigation might end.
