Marjorie Murray is the founder of the
California based Center
for California Homeowner Association Law. A policy analyst
specializing in housing, finance and the law, Marjorie has been active
working with homeowners and board members who find themselves in
need help and guidance.
Marjorie and talk show host Shu Bartholomew are talking about the Center for California Homeowner Association Law, and are attempting to analyze how all the foreclosures in California affect the rest of the state. And they discuss what is happening in the California legislature. Foreclosures are running rampant. Especially in counties where Common Interest Development housing were a big part of the recent housing developments foreclosures are occurring in a much higher rate than anywhere else. Marjorie discusses the total lack of availability of unbiased information, objective for the homeowners or board member, and it's just impossible for owners and board members to get coherent and factual information what their rights and duties are. What she has to say about California definitely goes for many other states in the nation. It's about the same everywhere, but too many folks are running around woth blinders! |
