ON THE COMMONS:

Guest

Julio Robaina

Here you can listen and/or download the latest talk show "On The Commons" taped on Saturday, February 3, 2007. Talk show host Shu Bartholomew talks with Florida House Representative Julio Robaina, Distr. 117 (R), Miami/Dade, about his pilot program to create awareness among law enforcement officers and prosecuting attorneys to finally go after criminals in our associations. He explains what the program will do, how it's supposed to work -- and how the criminals, financially draining our communities, will finally get punished. It's unacceptable that board members embezzling huge amounts of association dues are just getting away with it -- without even a slap on the wrist!

Listen to the talk show and mind the words:

"Without enforcement we have no laws!"

"If a system didn't work for ten or twenty years,

don't expect a miracle. We need to change it!"

In the second half of the talk show you will hear about property insurance reforms -- already enacted or still waiting for passage in the upcoming regular legislative session. You'll hear about PUPs, cherry-picking -- what it all means -- and what it will mean for you!

Representative Julio Robaina
