Condominium and Cooperative Associations

Effective Date: Except as otherwise provided in this act, this act shall take effect July 1, 2025.

This bill relates to condominium associations regulated under s. 718, Florida Statutes, and cooperative associations regulated under s. 719., Florida Statutes.   The bill adds, revises, deletes and amends duties and requirements for (i) community association managers (“CAM”) and community association managements companies, (ii) owners in mandatory community associations regulated under ss. 718 and 719, Florida Statutes, (iii) responsibilities of the board of a mandated community association, (iv) notice requirements, including those relating to a structural integrity reserve study, (v) the developer and (vi)  the Division of Business and Professional Regulation (“division”).
