Please amend Homeowners'
Association BILL SB 2984 and add Ombudsman's Office!
Dear Senator ....................... ,
The bill cited above has serious flaws.
But those flaws could be corrected easily by adding an Ombudsman's Office
(like proposed in Condo Bill SB 2498) and by removing the Alternative Dispute
Resolution, which is detrimental to owners on limited incomes.

Adding the words flag pole/bracket to paragraph
FS 720.304(2) would definitely be of great benefit. How can an owner
respectfully fly six flags on one day without use of flag pole/bracket?

Charging 50 cents per page for copies of documents
is definitely outrageous! See: FS 720.303(5)(c).
The proposed amendments to this bill are necessary
to protect the welfare of about 4 million Florida citizens living in these
associations. We consumers definitely need these legislative changes.
Enough IS Enough!
Please do not allow SB 2984 to stand as
it is now filed. It could create another horrible headline like:
"Florida Bill Reportedly Creates 'Christmas For Lawyers' At The Expense
Of The Elderly And Minorities!"
Do YOU want the added challenge
