Todd Demartine, a bookkeeper for a Boca Raton management company that oversees funds for dozens of homeowners associations, pleaded guilty Friday to grand theft of more than $100,000, said his attorney Maria Sachs.

In exchange for the plea, the state has agreed not to prosecute Demartine on the charge of organized scheme to defraud. Demartine, 32, already was on probation for grand theft and vehicular manslaughter when he was charged in March with stealing $185,000 from Hawk-Eye Management in Boca Raton. The management company handles funds for about 40 homeowners associations.

At Demartine's Aug. 6 sentencing, Sachs said she will ask Circuit Judge Hubert Lindsey for Demartine's sentence to include treatment for drug dependency.
