The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says Loureiro was tired of waiting behind
a truck as he tired to enter his community in Mission Bay. So he allegedly
threatened the truck driver, in front of him, with a knife. PBSO shared with
BocaNewsNow.com the following narrative of what allegedly happened on Saturday.
“PBSO Deputies responded to an armed disturbance call in reference to a delivery
truck driver waiting to get into a gated community. The delivery truck driver
was taking a long time to get into the development and holding up the suspect
who was in a vehicle behind him. The suspect approached the victim and a
discussion ensued. The suspect went back to his vehicle and returned with a
knife. The suspect reached into the window armed with the knife and attempted to
stab the driver. Suspect was found detained and arrested. Community video was
obtained and showed the suspect with the knife. Targeted Violence Unit notified.
Suspect stated he owns 7 firearms. A CAD premise request was completed on the
residence.”
Loureiro was booked into the Palm Beach County jail and charged with burglary
and aggravated assault with a weapon. He was later released on $15,000 bond. A
court date is pending.
