This year's Cannes Film Festival -- The European version of The Oscars -- will feature a documentary produced by Valerie Austin and Inger Garcia:  “Condo Commandos - One Vote Away From Hell.”

The film shows what is really going on in Florida's condos -- with lots of info from our website. CCFJ is prominently featured on many occasions. I have seen the 18-minute documentary -- it really hits the mark.  The film documents the realities of the environment in condominiums and HOAs in Florida, including board corruption, unnecessary construction, theft, fraud and special interests.    Featured in this documentary are interviews of owners, contractors, engineers and government

officials.  This is a taste of what is to come in the full feature documentary that has been years in the making. 

This is the first time you will have a chance to really fight back against the entrenched and corrupt boards and the established interests that make your life miserable.  I know these are difficult times, but you can really make a difference.  Anything will help, but if you contribute:

• $25 or more, you will receive a copy of the film “Condo Commandos - One Vote Away From Hell” as soon as it is released.  

• $100 or more, you will receive a certificate saying that you helped fund the film to fight for fairness and the rights of condo owners. Plus you will receive an invitation to a private screening and cocktail party after the Film Festival. 

• $1000 or more, your name or your company will be mentioned in the film credits that will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival on May 10 through May 22, 2011 as long as your contribution has been received by May 1.  It will also be shown for a year on the Cannes Film Festival website.   

• If your $1000 contribution is received after May 1, your name or your company will be included in the full-length documentary.  In addition, the film will be distributed throughout the world and I am sure that all of the millions of condo owners will want to see it.  Plus you will be invited as a special guest to the post-screening VIP cocktail party where you will receive the honor of the director and the film crew introducing you and/or your company to the group.
