The constituents of Senate District 8 were in the last few years always well represented. But Senator Jim King died much too early and his constituents will miss him.

Liked him or not -- Jim King fought for what he believed in and he surely wasn't FOR SALE!

That can't be said for the candidate who is trying to replace him: JOHN THRASHER!

The former Speaker of the Florida House is well known for his shenanigans and the fact that he is FOR SALE TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER!

John Thrasher is Mr. Special Interest himself. He was involved in all kinds of political shenanigans, like the letter that was sent to citizens regarding Florida Hometown Democracy. Anything for money! Any constituent voting for T(h)rasher is voting against his/her own wallet. Read the letter Thrasher sent to people who signed the Hometown Democracy petition.

The envelope alone is a piece of art -- but then read the actual letter. He must think all Floridians are IDIOTS! This letter clearly shows where Thrasher is really coming from: DECEIVING SPECIAL INTEREST!
