PORT ST. LUCIE — The director of the Midport Place II condominium association was arrested Thursday for not having a required state license, a detective said Friday.

Linda M. Miller, 60, of the 200 block of Southwest Paar Road, faces a misdemeanor charge of practicing community association management without a license, Detective Tom Nichols said.

Miller has been in charge of managing the condo association there for the past several years, he said.

"She is operating in a capacity where she is required to have a (community association management) license," Nichols said.

Nichols became aware of Miller after condo owners alleged she'd been misappropriating money, though Nichols said he found no evidence of that.
